Welcome to the home of the Australian Powerchair Football Association!
Powerchair Football is a modified version of football (or soccer) played by powerchair users. The sport features specially modified powerchairs and an oversized ball and is played on an indoor court. It is fast paced, highly tactical and showcases the skills of some incredible athletes.
Join the powerchair football family!
Powerchair football can be played by people of ALL ages, ALL genders and a wide range of different disabilities. As long as you are able to drive a powerchair and use one for everyday mobility, you can play.
The Australian Powerchair Football Association’s member associations run our sport across the nation. Check out our ‘Get Involved’ page for information about our local associations!
APFA runs our annual Club Championships and National Championships with the assistance of our State organisations. Congratulations to our current Club Champions, Hills United (2023) and our current National Champions, Queensland (2018).
